Finding Edina luxury apartments seemed like a daunting task. I decided to sell my home and move into an apartment due to advancing age and a fixed budget due to a retirement. I could probably stay in the home, and gave serious thought to do so, but decided to sell because I just don’t have the energy to keep everything up. It takes a lot of work to keep a home running smoothly, and especially in Minnesota because of the cold winters. If I never have to clear the walk and the driveway of snow again I’ll consider selling the home a great success.

It was a big deal when I got out of school, because I was broke and I was still working at a bar near the campus. So I went on living here with a bunch of other guys who were still in school. At any rate I have a new job now, which is not very close to the campus and I have an early wake up call from my phone. So I have started to look for a new Jackson apartments to live in. The fact is that I am going to need a roommate, or if it were possible two of them as that would be even more cost effective. That is the one great thing about this place. Continue reading
Well down to 8 days and counting.
Today was Back and Biceps. It was just fantastic. The sweat, burn, and even the pain was really great. I know that sounds wrong, but believe me, with P90x it’s wonderful.
My intensity level was through the roof and I was able to Bring It all the way home.
Not having a gym bill is another awesome aspect of P90x, you see for years, I like most other people believed that you could get in decent shape at home, but to get in awesome shape, you needed a gym and all the equipment they provided. Well Team Beachbody is proving that myth wrong. I know a man who is a real gym rat, working with a trainer who has him doing things that are obviously unhealthy, who made the statement that it is impossible to get fit working out in a little room. In the last three months, I have exceeded everything he has done and people aren’t making the comments to me that I look sickly like they are making to him. My main concern with him is that he is so locked into what his trainer is telling him that he doesn’t see the damage he is doing to himself. Even though everyone is telling him how bad he looks. It is a shame really, I am 52 and he is only 32 yet he looks older then me.
There I go on a rant again about how great P90x is and some other programs are not. Notice I said some, because I have seen a lot of people in the gym who were eating right and working out properly and making great progress. But they have to pay a gym bill and I don’t.
Tomorrow is Yoga X and I am ready for a good stretching. the intensity this week has been so high that I am pretty sore all over. But in a good way, as I know it is the breakdown that causes the repair and building up.

Just a short one here, today was Kenpo X.
I still don’t like this one, and I probably never will. But I will continue to work my way through it till I get to Day 90.
There is just too much pounding in this one for my herniated neck to handle so I have to go easy on some of it and a couple of the moves I cannot do at all. But that is how it is when your injured. I do the best and keep my heart rate up during so as not to lose the momentum . Yoga X is the only other routine that I have issues with, the were designed for a person without injuries, but the entire program is flexible enough that you can work around these issues without problem .
For those of you who have been asking, my starting and my 60 day photos are on my coaches profile page. I will post them here when I finish and do my final review of the entire package .
Tomorrow is a rest day, and I am glad for that. My legs and Butt are really sore from doing Legs and Back yesterday. I am finding that I am able to really “BRING IT” at a much higher level then ever before. I am thinking very serious about doing a second 90 days with slight modification when I finish this first round .
Possibly Chalean Extreme or Hip Hop abs on the cardio days. Not sure which yet, I will have to look into the routines and see which will suit my needs better. With Spring just around the corner I will be doing a lot of Cycling and that is very cardio intensive .
